Before you go to a home improvement center such as Lowe's or Home depot, there are things you should be aware of so you can make a well informed decision about the products you are buying.  After working for Lowe's for about 18 months in the cabinet, electrical/ lighting, lumber and Millwork depts., I saw a wide range of products and got a good look at quality.  Also while working in those depts. I had numerous discussions with  the different product representatives.  A I am here to tell that the quality you buy is not the quality that is advertised.  Since I left Lowe's and went back to working directly with the home owner as both consultant and producer, I have witnessed several installations sold by Lowes store 1644 here in Milledgeville Ga..  Not only was the work shoty at best It took several, several weeks for any corrections to be made.  And I have found that if have a Lowes Crew instal your products for you, you need to have a handy man on site to take care of the many things during the instal thst the install crew claims they o that, that is not on the invoice or that is done by some else.  All these excuses only mean that you cabinets or counter top will one cost you more than you expected or will be delayed untill these items are performed by someone else
