Kevin's Notes
These are my thoughts on different topics, ever so vague or dispersed as they my be.
A job done well
A contractor will do the least amount of work for the most amount of money. If you are willing to put the time in you can have a better job for less.
Also, remember, there are those craftsman out there that care more about the job than the dollar. But you have to allow the time for job
It took a flooring contractor a day and half to sand and stain a floor, a job I would NOT have in my house. It's not his fault, what he did was sand a pine floor to American Wood Floor Association standards, an industry standard. You can can not get a better job with the tools that are used by every flooring contractor.
With some additional time the same floor could have been free of all sanding marks. Remember quality takes time, not so much as money but it does take time.
Quality takes time, without a schedule
